Helps to remove phenolic resin-based root canal sealers.High softening potency for a time saving and efficient desobturation.Reduces risks associated with use of power-driven instruments during mechanical desobturation.
Gain access to root canal by opening via occlusal area. Place a drop of ENDOSOLV E in the opened canal, in contact with old filling material to be removed. Using a reamer or other appropriate endodontic instrument, remove the soften filling material. Add more ENDOSOLV E repeatedly as the removal process continues, as necessary to soften old restorative material. It is frequently desirable to open the root in question, place ENDOSOLV E in the pulp chamber via a cotton pledget, reclose the tooth, and allow the ENDOSOLV E to remain in the canal for one or more days. This procedure is recommended if conditiond permit.
When ENDOSOLV E has been used, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and dry the canal before placement of an endodontic filling.
